Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StravaDisplay hardware device and associated cloud service operated by Nodex Devices ("we", "us", "our"). By activating or using the device you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Nodex Devices provides a hardware display device ("Device") and a supporting cloud service ("Service") that retrieves activity statistics from Strava and displays them on the Device. The Service acts as an intermediary between your Strava account and the Device.

2. Strava Integration

The Service accesses your Strava account data using the official Strava API under the read-only activity:read scope. By connecting your Strava account you authorise us to retrieve your activity totals for the purpose of displaying them on your Device. You can revoke this access at any time via your Strava app settings.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

4. Device Activation

Each Device is identified by a unique serial number and device ID provisioned at manufacture. These identifiers are used solely to authenticate the Device with the Service and route your Strava data to the correct display.

5. Service Availability

We aim to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or due to circumstances beyond our control. The Device will continue to display the last retrieved data during any outage.

6. Updates

We may deliver firmware updates to your Device automatically over WiFi (OTA). Updates may add features, fix bugs, or address security issues. We will not use OTA updates to remove core functionality without notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nodex Devices shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Device or Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the Device.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Device after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes where reasonably practicable.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
